BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF) announced today that Cindy Rogers, senior executive vice president and head of Operations and Technology, will retire on December 31, 2015, after a 36-year career at Regions.

Rogers, 59, joined the company in 1979 and was appointed head of Operations and Technology in 2009. In 2010 she joined the company's Operating Committee. During her nearly four decades at Regions and predecessor banks, Rogers held leadership roles across the enterprise, including staff auditor, senior electronic data processing auditor, manager of Deposit Operations, and head of Bank Operations.

"Our customers and our associates have all benefitted from her loyalty, focus and integrity. I value the years we have worked together and wish her the very best as she starts a new phase of her life."
