John M. Turner, Jr., Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Regions Financial Corporation

John Turner is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Regions Financial Corporation, one of the nation’s largest regional banks with $161 billion in assets. Regions is a member of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the nation’s largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, and mortgage products and services. The company operates in 15 states across the Southeast, Midwest and Texas.

Turner joined Regions in 2011 as president of the South Region, leading banking operations in Alabama, Mississippi, South Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle, and named head of the Corporate Bank in 2014. He became President in 2017, and in 2018, was named chief executive officer and appointed to the Regions’ board of directors. In April 2024, Turner became Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Regions, Turner was named president of Whitney National Bank and Whitney Holding Corporation in 2008 and was elected to the bank and holding company boards of directors. Earlier in his career at Whitney, he was responsible for all geographic line banking functions across the bank and served as the company’s Eastern Region President. Turner joined Whitney in 1994 as its Alabama regional president after nine years at AmSouth Bank, where he held senior consumer, commercial and business positions.

Turner holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia and is currently a trustee for the University of Georgia Foundation. Turner previously served as Chairman of the Board of the Business Council of Alabama and the United Way of Central Alabama.  He was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Alabama Growth Alliance.  Additionally, Turner currently serves on the boards of the Bank Policy Institute, Southern Company, Economic Development Partnership of Alabama, Prosper Birmingham, United Way of Central Alabama, Business Council of Alabama, A Plus Education Foundation, and Infirmary Health System boards.  He previously served on the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama and is a former chairman of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mobile Area Education Foundation and the United Way of Southwest Alabama. He is a graduate of Leadership Alabama and a former board member of Leadership Mobile.

Anil D. Chadha, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Anil Chadha serves as Regions’ Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Regions Executive Leadership Team. Chadha leads all finance operations, including financial systems, investor relations, corporate treasury, corporate tax, management planning and reporting, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Before being appointed to his current role, Chadha was Regions’ Controller and Head of Corporate Finance. He joined the company in 2011 and served as Assistant Treasurer in the Treasury Division and Head of Shared Risk Services & Analytics within Risk Management.

Prior experience includes serving in Finance and Treasury groups at several financial institutions including Ally Financial, Wachovia/Wells Fargo and Capital One.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a master’s in business from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.

Chadha serves on the University of Alabama-Birmingham’s Athletic Foundation Board and the Advisory Board of the Finance Department within the Collat School of Business. Additional service includes the  Board of Directors of REV Birmingham and the Mike Slive Foundation.

Anil was named Top 40 under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal in 2018. He was also a member of the 2021 Birmingham cohort of the Young American Leaders Program at the Harvard Business School.

Kate R. Danella, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer

Kate Danella is Chief Administrative Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Danella oversees Strategic Planning, Transformation Office, Digital Banking, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Community and Market Engagement, and Customer Advocacy.  The teams in the CAO division are responsible for advancing customer experience, driving innovation and strategic growth, and supporting execution across the Regions’ businesses. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Danella joined Regions in 2015 and has held leadership roles across a range of business and strategy functions. Most recently, she led the Consumer Banking Group, overseeing the Retail Bank, Mortgage, and Indirect Lending and Partnerships businesses. Previously, she served as Chief Strategy and Client Experience Officer and head of Regions Private Wealth Management.

Danella holds degrees from Vanderbilt University (BA), the University of Cambridge (MPhil), and Harvard Business School (MBA).

Danella serves on the boards of the Consumer Bankers Association and Children's of Alabama. In addition, she is a member of the Mastercard U.S. Advisory Board and the Board of Overseers for the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Birmingham.

David R. Keenan, Senior Advisor

Dave Keenan is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and will retire from Regions at the end of 2026 following more than two decades of leadership at the company.

Keenan most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer and led all Human Resources functions, Community Engagement, Customer Advocacy, the Transformation Office, Corporate Marketing & Communications, Corporate Security, the Aviation Group, and Corporate Real Estate & Procurement. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Throughout his extensive career with Regions, Keenan has held roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, operations, and administration. He served as Chief Human Resources Officer for the company from 2010-2020 and was a key member of the leadership team which led the bank through the 2008 financial crisis, subsequently creating an industry-leading organizational culture as recognized by Gallup’s Exceptional Workplace Award.

Keenan joined Regions’ predecessor AmSouth Bank in 2003 as leader of the company’s Field Human Resources Group. In 2006, he led the HR integration during the Regions/AmSouth merger. Before joining AmSouth, Keenan served as director of Human Resources at Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, where he worked for 10 years. Prior to Frito-Lay, Keenan served in the U.S. Army as a Captain for four years.

Keenan earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Furman University. He earned a master’s degree in Human Resources from Boston University.

C. Dandridge Massey, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Enterprise Operations and Technology Officer

Dan Massey serves as Regions Chief Enterprise Operations and Technology Officer and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Massey is responsible for all aspects of Regions Enterprise Operations, Technology, Digital, and Data and Analytics. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Before joining Regions in 2022, Massey spent almost 30 years at Truist Bank and its predecessor companies, including SunTrust Bank, primarily in roles focused on technology, operations, and transformation. In his previous roles at Truist, he served as head of Digital and Contact Center Banking and head of Enterprise Technology Strategic Services. Prior to the BB&T/SunTrust merger, Massey was Chief Technology Officer at SunTrust over technology strategy, architecture and enterprise API services, technology transformation, and more. His career also includes extensive experience in Mortgage operations, digital and technology transformation, and consumer lending. He began his career at Crestar Mortgage.

Massey holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of the Emory University Advanced Management Program

Throughout his career, Massey has been involved in a variety of not-for-profit boards, including serving as president of the Virginia Commonwealth University Alumni Association. He is also a member of the United Way’s Tocqueville Society.

Tara A. Plimpton, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

Tara A. Plimpton serves as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Regions Financial Corporation and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. She leads the company’s Legal, Government Affairs, and Corporate Governance departments.

Plimpton joined Regions in 2020, following an 18-year career at General Electric. At GE, Plimpton most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel for GE Global Operations. In that role, she led a team of over 450 global professionals running critical compliance, trade, IP, labor, and transactional support globally. Plimpton also served as General Counsel to several GE divisions, including Transportation and Energy. Prior to joining GE, Plimpton was the managing partner of a law firm and provided legal counsel to a variety of corporate clients in the manufacturing, agricultural, and tourism industries.

Plimpton received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Nevada and holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.

Plimpton was a board member of United Way, Atlanta (2012-2018), CARE’s Women’s Advisory Network (2017-2020), and Georgetown’s Corporate Counsel Advisory Board (2018-2022). Plimpton is currently on the Board of Counselors for Equal Justice Works.

William D. Ritter, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Wealth Management Group

Bill Ritter serves as Head of the Wealth Management group. The Wealth Management group includes Private Wealth Management, Investment Services, Institutional Services and Asset Management.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2011, Ritter served as president for the Central Region, overseeing banking operations in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina. Throughout his career at Regions, which he started in 1993, Ritter has served in several management positions, including North Central Alabama area executive and commercial banking executive with management responsibility for commercial middle market, corporate banking and public, institutional and not for profit activity. He also has served as commercial banking sales manager and business banking sales manager for North Central Alabama.

Ritter earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking at Georgetown.

Ritter is involved in several community organizations, including serving on the board of directors of Leadership Birmingham and the Birmingham Museum of Art and on the board of trustees for Tuskegee University. He is a former member of the board of directors for the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama, McWane Science Center, the Alabama Symphony and Innovation Depot.

Angela R. Santone, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer

Angela Santone is Chief People Officer for Regions Bank and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. She provides strategic leadership for all Human Resources functions that support the organization’s commitment to innovation, engagement and well-being and position Regions as an employer of choice. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Santone joined Regions in May 2025. Prior to this, she served in executive leadership roles with AT&T from 2019-2023, including Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources, with responsibility for all aspects of global HR strategy and execution. Before joining AT&T, she spent 17 years in Human Resources leadership with Turner Broadcasting System, including Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer across the company’s 10 lines of business.

Santone serves on the board of directors for Jed Foundation and is a member of the Florida State University Student Affairs Development Council. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development from Troy University.

Brian R. Willman, Senior Executive Vice President Head of Corporate Banking Group

Brian Willman serves as the Head of the Corporate Banking Group for Regions, which includes Commercial Banking, Large Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Real Estate Banking Regions Business Capital, the Credit Products Organization and Corporate Banking Group Administration. Willman is also a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest, Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, AL.

Willman began his career at Regions in 2009 as the Community Banking Executive for the Georgia and South Carolina markets. He has held various leadership roles including, Head of Commercial Banking, Chief Operating Officer for Commercial Banking and Area President for South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Prior to joining Regions, Willman served as Market President for the Northeast Georgia Region for Wachovia Bank.

Willman received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Business Alliance as well as on the board of UAB Visual and Performing Arts. Willman formerly served on the boards of St. Paul’s Episcopal School, Coastal Alabama Partnership and the Senior Bowl. He also is a former Past-Chair of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and Treasurer of United Way of Southwest Alabama. In addition to his civic involvement, Willman is a graduate of Leadership Alabama.

Russell K. Zusi, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer

Russ Zusi is Chief Risk Officer and oversees Regions’ risk management functions, including Financial Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Enterprise Compliance Risk, Enterprise Risk, Risk Initiative Integration and Business Unit Risk Groups for the Corporate Banking Group, Consumer Banking Group, and Wealth Management. He is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Prior to joining Regions in January 2024, Zusi spent 20 years at Bank of America, most recently as the co-head of Global Compliance and Operational Risk. In this role, he oversaw the company’s strategy and governance for the Compliance and Operational Risk program. Russ’ responsibilities also included maintaining relationships with key regulators and supervisory institutions worldwide, the bank’s senior leadership team, governance committees and the board of directors to support a culture that embraced risk management and a best-in-class control environment. Russ held numerous other leadership positions at Bank of America across Risk, including Credit, Liquidity, Capital and Interest Rate Risk, as well as Finance where he served as CFO of the Retail business.

Russ earned an engineering degree, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University. He currently serves on the executive committee for LIFESPAN Services, a nonprofit serving children and adults with disabilities.

John T. Jordan, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Banking Group

John Jordan is head of Regions’ Consumer Banking Group, which is comprised of the Retail Bank, Mortgage and Indirect Lending and Partnerships. These business lines include Consumer Strategy; the Retail Branch Network; Call Center Channel; Mortgage Sales; Consumer Home Improvement Financing – HIFi; Consumer Products and Segments; Consumer Risk Services, Compliance, CRA/Fair Lending; and Consumer Operations. Jordan is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Jordan joined Regions in April 2024 as head of Retail Banking, leading a network of more than 1,200 banking offices, 1,750 ATMs, and 7,500 associates serving approximately 4.5 million consumer households and small business customers. Under his leadership, the business accelerated growth, strengthened small business performance, expanded career opportunities for associates, and achieved record levels of customer experience and engagement.

Jordan brought more than 20 years of banking experience to Regions from Bank of America, where he held senior leadership roles across retail banking, wealth management, strategy, client experience, sales and service operations, and analytics. He also led enterprise learning and development for the company’s more than 200,000 employees, helping shape the culture, capabilities, and professional growth of one of the nation’s largest financial institutions.

Jordan earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Auburn University.

A committed community leader, Jordan is an active supporter of the United Way of Central Alabama, where he served as county chair in 2025 and currently co-chairs the Regions campaign. He is also passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving as a founding board member of Next Step Clubhouse in Charlotte and an active supporter of The Exceptional Foundation in Birmingham, organizations dedicated to fostering inclusion, independence, and meaningful community engagement for individuals with disabilities.
